Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC or carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret installation manuals, blueprints, or technical drawings.
• Manual dexterity to operate hand/power tools.
• Problem-solving and adaptability for installation challenges.
• Attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit to lift heavy objects and work outdoors.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install fireplaces (wood-burning and gas) per guidelines and codes.
• Conduct on-site assessments for feasibility and challenges.
• Prepare sites by measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
• Assemble and install fireboxes, chimneys, vent pipes, and gas lines.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and project managers.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fireplaces.
• Maintain records of installations, materials, and hours.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and proper tool operation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and installation techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.
