Job summary

Novato Fire Protection District seeks a Firefighter/Paramedic to respond to medical and fire emergencies in Marin County. You will assess patients, provide advanced life support, administer medications, control bleeding, transport, and coordinate with hospitals.

Must maintain certification, operate emergency equipment, document accurately, and work as part of a team in a demanding schedule with rotating shifts. A commitment to public safety and community service is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as EMT-Paramedic and meet Marin EMS requirements.
• Respond to medical emergencies with speed and accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and inventory.
• Complete reports and ensure radio communications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency medical calls and fires with tank and team.
• Administer medications and provide advanced life support.
• Document Patient Care Reports and Incident Reports accurately.
• Inspect and maintain EMS equipment and vehicles regularly.
