The Jekyll Island Authority is looking for a dedicated Firefighter/Paramedic to join the Fire Department. Qualifications

• Responds to and participates in firefighting operations.
• Provides advanced emergency medical care to sick or injured persons.
• Inspects buildings for pre-fire plans, fire hazards, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of vehicles, equipment, and station.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and station.
• Ensure readiness of all supplies and equipment.

Knowledge of standard emergency management principles

Education
