A local government agency in Hapeville, Georgia is seeking a Firefighter Paramedic to join their team. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, operating firefighting and medical equipment, and participating in fire safety training. Candidates must have a high school diploma, Georgia Paramedic certification, and must obtain Basic Firefighter Certification within one year. Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
• Must be a Paramedic in the State of Georgia.
• Completion of Basic Firefighter Certification within one year.
• Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certification.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Conducts public presentations related to fire safety.
• Participates in fire prevention and safety training.
• Operate a personal computer or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions.
• Makes periodic public presentations.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responds to emergency calls for fire suppression.
• Responds to medical calls and transport.
• Responds to Hazardous material incidents.
• Operates, drive, utilizes and/or maintains various firefighting and medical equipment
• Operate a personal computer or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions.
• Makes periodic public presentations.
• Fire safety training develops, plans and participates in Fire prevention/safety

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent. State of Georgia Basic Firefighter Certification or completion within one (1) year. (Department provides training). Must be a Paramedic in the State of Georgia. Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certification. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
