The Morongo Band of Mission Indians invites applications for a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic in Banning, CA. Under the Fire Chief, you fight fires and perform emergency medical and rescue work, while participating in prevention, station upkeep, and training activities.
You will also handle hazmat mitigation and related duties as required. As a paramedic, you provide advanced life support, assess and treat patients, and relay conditions to the base station.
Under the direction of the Fire Chief, fights fires, assist in and performs emergency medical and rescue work; participates in fire prevention, station maintenance, cooking, cleaning, and training activities; mitigates hazardous material incidents; performs relates duties as required In addition the paramedic assignment includes providing advance life support care to injured or critically ill victims. Paramedics examine, evaluate, and treat patient condition; communicate patient condition to the base station.
