Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Firefighter for North Boone Fire District #3. The role involves providing medical care and transportation for patients within the Firefighter scope of practice under IDPH/EMS Commission guidelines.

Starting pay is $73,216 annually, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training opportunities. Ideal candidates have EMT-B certification (preferred), a valid Illinois driver’s license, CPR, and a willingness to complete ACLS/PALS training.

Qualifications

Overview

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking a full-time Firefighter for our North Boone Fire District #3 contract. The base annual starting pay is $73,216.

The basic function of the Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Firefighter level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Firefighter Qualifications:

• EMT-B certification preferred upon hire. If hired without this credential, may be requested to obtain.
