Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver's Class B Driver's License without suspension or revocation.
• Must be certified by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a Basic Structural Firefighter.
• Must be certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services as EMT-B, EMT-I, or Paramedic.
• Paramedic certification program enrollment or pursuit within 1 year may be required.

Responsabilités

• Perform firefighting activities including driving apparatus, laying hose, and extinguishing fires.
• Provide emergency medical aid and rescue operations as needed.
• Participate in training and certification to maintain fire, EMS, and rescue skills.
• Inspect buildings, hydrants, and fire prevention programs; maintain equipment and facilities.
