Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPAT card or ladder climb experience preferred.
• EMT license or current enrollment in EMT course; license due by list creation date.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire alarms and other emergency calls.
• Lead hose line operations and direct water/chemical streams.
• Climb ladders and access upper floors during firefighting operations.
• Create ventilation openings and breach walls to access affected areas.
• Protect property with salvage covers and ejectors; assist in cleanup after incidents.
• Administer first aid and CPR; provide EMT/paramedic care as required.
• Operate firefighting vehicles under emergency driving conditions.
• Participate in training and drills to maintain skills and certifications.
