Job summary

The City of St. Robert invites applications for a full-time Firefighter in the Fire Department. The position requires residing within 30 minutes of the central fire station and working 48-hour shifts with on-call duties year-round.

You will respond to fire and medical calls, perform fire prevention duties, conduct hydrant maintenance, and participate in training drills. You may assist in mutual aid and community safety programs, and maintain certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Current certification of Firefighter I and II is a plus.
• Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire calls and medical calls as First Responder.
• Perform fire prevention duties and hydrant maintenance.
• Document and report scene accurately.
• Participate in training drills and volunteer staff recruitment.
