Qualifications
- Current Firefighter I and Firefighter II certifications.
- HazMat Awareness and HazMat Operations certifications are required.
- HazMat Technician certification is required at GS-07 level.
- CPR and AED certification is required at both GS-06 and GS-07 levels.
Responsibilities
- Respond to structural and technical fire/EMS incidents as part of a crew.
- Operate and drive firefighting apparatus and associated equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure readiness.
