Job summary

City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated Firefighter to join our team. The Firefighter will handle fire suppression, prevention, inspection, rescue, and first responder operations within our department response area. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, a TCFP Structural Firefighter-Basic Certification, and a DSHS EMT-Basic Certification.

The starting hourly rate is $19.80/hr. (DOE) with a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and life insurance, TMRS

The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated Firefighter to join our team. As a key member of the Fire Department, the Firefighter will handle fire suppression, prevention, inspection, rescue, and first responder operations. Our Firefighters make a difference in our citizens’ lives by engaging with them by protecting life and property from disaster situations, including house and building fires, and promote an environment of public safety within the department response area.

Compensation: Starting hourly rate is $19.80/hr. (DOE) plus outstanding benefits package which includes 100% fully paid employee health, vision, dental, and life insurance, generous TMRS retirement package with a 2:1 match at 7% employee contribution, 12 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday that is awarded at the beginning of each fiscal year, vacation and sick leave, and so much more!
