Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Rancho Bernardo, CA is seeking a Principal Engineer RQ-4 Firebee CAM to join our Product Support team. You will lead lifecycle development and logistics activities, ensuring deliverables meet the SOW, budget, and schedule in a high-tempo environment.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with extensive experience in earned value management, program budgeting, and cross-functional leadership, plus the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance and coordinate with internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's degree.
• Proven EVM skills including development, analysis, and control of program budgets, EAC analysis, ETC analysis, performance index assessment, and program variance analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
• Ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated US Government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal teams and external customers to ensure lifecycle development and logistics products and services are executed within the SOW, budget, and schedule.
• Lead internal and external teammates/suppliers to ensure program performance, cost/schedule, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Collaborate with Customer Program Offices, Program Leaders, and Product Support Functions to meet requirements defined by the SOW within budget, schedule, quality, and closure criteria.
