Firearms Sales - Part Time

Position Summary

The Sales Outfitter - Firearms is responsible for maintaining counter sales and customer service for firearms, along with floor and counter sales of other hunting merchandise. Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling merchandise with care, providing information, and assisting customers in making purchasing decisions.

Essential Functions

• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience, including identifying customer needs and recommending products.
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed accurately.
• Demonstrate products to customers and organize merchandise for sales.
• Replenish stock and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years retail experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition, including ATF regulations.
• Customer service and sales skills specific to firearms.
• Ability to merchandise and stock products.

Additional Information

Travel is not required. Physical demands include standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in noisy environments. Independent judgment is exercised within established procedures.
