Job summary

Secur0d Solutions Inc is seeking a certified Firearms Instructor to deliver high-quality FDACS-compliant training to security personnel across Florida. The role emphasizes safety, clear instruction, and regulatory adherence.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with strong public speaking skills, a clean background, and the ability to adapt to high-stress scenarios while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Firearms Instructor under FDACS or approved program.
• Valid Florida Class D and Class G licenses.
• Prior experience teaching armed security officers, military personnel, or law enforcement.
• Strong knowledge of Florida statutes and licensing requirements.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to stay composed in high-stress training scenarios.
• Clean background check and drug screening.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Class “G” statewide firearm license training courses in accordance with Florida law (Chapter 493, F.S.).
• Deliver classroom instruction and live-fire range training, ensuring safety at all times.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records, sign-offs, and documentation for licensing purposes.
• Conduct firearm qualification and requalification sessions.
• Ensure proper use, handling, maintenance, and storage of all firearms used in training.
• Stay up-to-date with legal and procedural changes related to armed security operations in Florida.
• Assist in the development of training curriculum and materials as needed.
• Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and responsibility.
