Job summary

Secur0d Solutions is seeking a professional Armed Security Officer to provide on-site protection for clients, assets, and personnel in Florida locations such as Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca, and surrounding areas.

Ideal candidates will have active licensure (Florida Class D Unarmed License and Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License) and meet state requirements to carry a firearm in a security role. Strong situational awareness and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Florida Class D license (Unarmed) and Class G firearm license (Armed) when applicable.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and responding quickly.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible armed presence to deter threats and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems as assigned.
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises (foot or vehicle).
• Verify identification and manage access control procedures.
• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, alarms, or emergencies.
• Complete detailed reports and log activities or incidents during shifts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, law enforcement, and team members.

Job Summary

Secur0d Solutions is seeking a professional, reliable Armed Security Officer to provide on-site protection for clients, assets, and personnel. This position requires active presence, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to safety. Candidates must be licensed and meet all requirements under Florida state law to carry a firearm in a security role.

Valid Florida Class D Security License (Unarmed Security Officer)

Valid Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License (Armed Security Officer)

High school diploma or GED

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Physically capable of standing, walking, and responding quickly as needed

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Professional appearance and demeanor

Reliable transportation and flexible availability (days/nights/weekends)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military, law enforcement, or private security experience
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Experience with access control and incident reporting systems
• Conflict resolution or de-escalation training
• College education
