Job summary

Runnings is seeking a Firearms Specialist to support customer service and sales in the Sporting Goods Department. The role emphasizes accurate firearm sales records and compliance with FFL regulations, with mandatory background checks and 21+ age requirement.

The position involves welcoming customers, stocking products, assisting in freight receipt, and preparing for audits. Prior FFL regulation experience is preferred, and the candidate must be able to handle firearms legally.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to pass Federal and State background checks.
• Legally eligible to handle and sell firearms.
• Experience with FFL regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions in-store.
• Price merchandise and adjust prices as directed.
• Stock and face merchandise on shelves as directed.
• Assist in receiving freight and organize incoming products.
• Support cycle counts and stock audits.
• Prepare for ATF or internal audits and remain compliant.
• Train staff on A&D logs, 4473 handling, and multiple handgun sales procedures.
