Job Purpose: As a Firearms Assembler at CZ-USA’s Kansas City facility, you will play a critical role in building, inspecting, and testing high-quality firearms to support our reputation for craftsmanship and reliability. This hands-on role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and strong mechanical aptitude. You'll work within a collaborative environment where excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement are valued.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assemble and disassemble firearms and components per detailed instructions and specifications.
  • Perform functional testing, including live test-firing, to verify mechanical reliability and accuracy.
  • Utilize digital tools and software to complete tasks and document work.
  • Monitor inventory and perform parts counts for accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot quality or assembly issues and escalate to supervisors as needed.
  • Support coworkers by providing hands-on job training and collaboration.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all company procedures, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Employment Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18 years old.
  • Understanding basic firearm safety.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate using email and internal phone systems.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliable, punctual, and meticulous.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required

  • Consistent punctuality and reliability.

  • In-depth experience with firearms and the firearms industry.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

The following are the physical requirements of this position, which all workers filling the position must be able to do or withstand each day:

  • Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
  • Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers.
  • Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
  • Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture, by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound.
  • Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
