Job summary

Marksman Security LLC in Georgetown, KY (in partnership with Toyota Manufacturing) seeks a Fire Training Officer to lead emergency preparedness and keep our team fire-ready and safe at a cutting-edge facility.

You will develop and deliver fire safety training, run live drills, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor the emergency response team in a high-tech industrial setting. This role offers a clear mission, a collaborative environment, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) required.
  • Hazardous Materials Operations (NFPA 472/1072) knowledge required.
  • Live-Fire Training (NFPA 1403) required.
  • Mayday/Emergency Survival Training required.
  • Hazardous Materials Awareness required.
  • SCBA initial qualification required.
  • Basic First Aid/CPR/AED required.
  • Accountability System Training required.
  • Emergency Communications Training preferred.
  • ICS 300 knowledge preferred.
  • Fire Officer I (NFPA 1021) required.
  • Incident Command/Management training required.
  • Live Fire Training Instructor alignment with NFPA 1403 required.

Monday - Friday with Holidays Off, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Essential Job Functions:

  • Schedule and conduct all ERT training activities
  • Develop and implement fire-related training programs and materials, including:
  • Refresher training
  • Retraining due to compliance deficiencies
  • Training related to new processes or procedural updates
  • Compliance-driven training
  • NFPA guidelines and skills training
  • Emergency response SOP training

Training Administration

  • Maintain training database and records
  • Manage e-learning platforms and course completion
  • Ensure all personnel meet required training and certification requirements

Performance & Compliance Oversight

  • Evaluate personnel performance during training
  • Identify training gaps and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed
