Marksman Security / Toyota Fire Rescue in Georgetown, KY is hiring a Fire Training Captain. Lead fire safety training, conduct live drills, and ensure regulatory compliance in a high-tech manufacturing setting.

The role requires EMR, NFPA-aligned certifications, and strong leadership to prepare the emergency response team. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• EMR certification and hazardous materials operation credentials required.
• Live-fire training experience aligned with NFPA standards essential.
• Fire officer and incident command training competencies expected.
• Ability to lead and deliver industrial fire safety training programs.
• Experience developing and maintaining training materials and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead fire safety training programs.
• Conduct live fire drills and emergency response exercises.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Mentor and prepare the emergency response team.
• Coordinate training administration and records management.

Monday – Friday with Holidays Off, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Essential Job Functions:

• Schedule and conduct all ERT training activities
• Develop and implement fire-related training programs and materials, including:
• New hire training
• Refresher training
• Retraining due to compliance deficiencies
• Training related to new processes or procedural updates
• Compliance-driven training
• NFPA guidelines and skills training
• Emergency response SOP training

Training Administration

• Maintain training database and records
• Manage e-learning platforms and course completion
• Ensure all personnel meet required training and certification requirements

Performance & Compliance Oversight

• Evaluate personnel performance during training
• Identify training gaps and implement corrective actions
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed

• Mayday / Emergency Survival Training
