Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Teaching lower division courses in Fire Technology.
  • Advance equitable student learning through exemplary instruction.
  • Inform students of course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance.
  • Prepare and grade class assignments and examinations and inform students of their academic progress.
  • Maintain attendance and scholastic records and submit per policies.
  • Develop, implement, and assess student-learning outcomes and use results for improvement.
  • Engage in data inquiry and self-assessment to improve student success and equity.
  • Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter and effective teaching strategies.
