Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years related experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler system installation, testing and maintenance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NFPA, IBC, IFC and State Fire Prevention Rules and regulations.
• Must obtain Utah State Fire Marshal Office Class A Certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems.
• Replace defective components (detectors, valves, extinguishers).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and document results.
• Respond to alarms and assist with emergency assessments.
