Job summary

Koorsen Fire & Security in South Bend is seeking a Fire Systems Inspector to inspect and test Fire Alarm and Sprinkler systems, ensuring proper functionality and clear documentation for customers. You will interact with customers and coworkers professionally while following all safety regulations and Koorsen policies.

A valid driver’s license and ability to meet licensing requirements are required. Salary ranges from $19 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of mechanical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with electronic testing devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Able to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test Fire Alarm and Sprinkler systems and components to ensure proper functionality.
• Document deficiencies and communicate findings to customers.
• Explain system functionality to customers.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Follow safety regulations and Koorsen policies.
