Job Title: Fire Systems Inspector

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a skilled Fire Systems Inspector to join our team of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our Tucson, AZ office.

Responsibilities

1. Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire protection systems with minimal supervision.
2. Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing and troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections.
3. Properly document all inspections and other information needed to perform repairs.
4. Provide detailed reports and recommended corrective actions to the customer.
5. Work includes climbing ladders, stairs, lifting at least 50 lbs, and walking long distances to reach all areas of buildings where inspections are performed.
6. Interact face-to-face with customers in various facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, schools, colleges, restaurants, military installations, government buildings, and residential properties. Contact with the public may vary depending on the facility.

Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience in field installation or service of fire sprinkler or alarm systems.
• Proven track record of providing excellent customer service and care.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Pass drug/alcohol and background screenings, including motor vehicle records.
