Job summary

Johnson Controls in San Diego offers a role maintaining and growing a service route across the San Diego area, servicing fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, and emergency lighting. A JCI‑branded vehicle is provided for route and service activities, with on‑site inspections, service, and repairs in line with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

This position emphasizes self‑scheduling, inventory control, and opportunities to upsell while meeting performance quotas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills are needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in confined spaces, including ladder use.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and track inventory.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend solutions based on manufacturer guidelines and codes.

• Prospect potential customers for suppression products and services.

Job Summary

Maintain and grow a service route throughout the San Diego Area, supporting fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, and emergency lighting. HIRING HOURLY RANGE:

$26.54-$36.49. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with marketdata.)
