Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Sr Technician to independently inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems. You will diagnose deficiencies, perform testing with hand tools, and ensure NFPA compliance while documenting reports.

Requires 2+ years in commercial/residential fire sprinkler systems, NICET II or Kentucky SSR license, high school diploma, and valid driver’s license. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the commercial and Residential Fire Sprinkler Systems.
• NICET Level II is required OR a Kentucky Sprinkler Inspections License (SSR).
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, codes, and inspection procedures.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.

The Sprinkler Test & Inspect Sr Technician is responsible for independently performing inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. This position demonstrates strong technical competency, holds applicable licenses, and is capable of completing jobs independently. Must be licensed to test ad inspect sprinkler systems.

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.

Pay Range

Dependent on experience and certifications.
