Job summary

gpac LLC. is partnering with a well-established fire protection contractor to recruit a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Technician.

The role focuses on installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in both commercial and residential settings, with emphasis on safety and code compliance. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience, solid knowledge of NFPA standards, and the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience installing, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
• Knowledge of fire sprinkler components, piping, and system testing procedures.
• Understanding of NFPA codes and local fire protection standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• NICET preferred.
• Ability to travel to job sites and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.
• Perform system testing and maintenance to ensure code compliance and proper operation.
• Conduct field surveys and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with contractors, inspectors, and team members to coordinate work.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
