Job summary

James Lane Mechanical, a Fidelity Company, is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to install, service, and inspect water-based fire protection systems across North Texas. This field role includes working with a licensed team and advancing through training and certifications. Company-provided growth opportunities are available.

You will work from our Wichita Falls base, read shop drawings, lay out piping, test systems, and coordinate with project management for efficient execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in installing/servicing water-based fire sprinkler systems.
• Must read sprinkler shop drawings and NFPA standards.
• Valid Texas license or eligibility to obtain within 30 days; we sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Install wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems per drawings and NFPA 13.
• Cut, groove, thread, and hang pipe with proper bracing.
• Perform hydrostatic tests, flushing, and final acceptance testing with AHJ.
• Respond to service calls and diagnose issues on first trip when possible.
• Document daily reports, time, and material usage accurately.
