Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to lay out, fabricate, assemble, install fire sprinkler systems, and maintain piping and fixtures. You will follow blueprints, calculate material measurements, and ensure system quality while mentoring apprentices.
The role requires a valid fire sprinkler license, 3–5 years of relevant experience (5+ preferred), and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with basic math and safety compliance is essential.
The responsibility of a Fire Sprinkler Technician is to successfully lay out, fabricate, assemble, install fire sprinkler systems, as well as maintain piping systems, fixtures, sprinklers and industrial processing systems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, ascend and descend step stools, ladders and stairs, kneel, lift 50 lbs, reach above and below shoulders, stand and walk for extended periods of time. The employee is required to see in color, close and far distances, peripheral, depth, and adjust focus. The employee will occasionally be required to balance, crouch, drive, kneel, lift more than 50 lbs, sit, stoop, twist, and work at heights.
Frequent local travel and occasional regional and non-regional travel is required. The employee will frequently be required to work indoors and outdoors in hot/cold temperatures and be exposed to loud noises, cramped quarters, dust, fumes and odors, standing on hard surfaces, and electrical hazards. Employees will occasionally be exposed to chemicals, moving machinery, uneven and slippery surfaces. The employee must consistently wear all appropriate personal protective equipment, as required by company safety policies.
