Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a technically skilled technician to service and repair fire sprinkler piping, fixtures, and related systems in Jacksonville, FL. You will work with wet and dry sprinkler systems, handle metal and plastic piping, and maintain associated equipment such as pumps and valves.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED plus 2–3 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with fire sprinkler installation plans. Flexible hours and on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2–3 years related experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting fire sprinkler plans preferred.
• Experience with anti-freeze loops and pre-action systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair wet fire sprinkler systems and associated components.
• Service and repair dry fire sprinkler systems and associated components.
• Work with metal and plastic pipe (PVC/CPVC).
• Service and repair air compressors, pumps, and controls.
• Test piping systems for leaks and monitor gauges.
• Adhere to safety procedures and be available for after-hours calls.
