Job summary

Century Fire Protection Houston - Magnolia, TX is seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Installer to join our field team. You will install, assemble, and maintain sprinkler piping per plans and NFPA standards, ensuring quality and safety.

This role requires reading blueprints, physical endurance, and adherence to OSHA policies; NICET certification or related training is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1–5 years in fire sprinkler installation or pipefitting.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards; ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• NICET certification or trade-related training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain fire sprinkler piping, fittings, and devices according to plans and specifications
• Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Assist with pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of sprinkler systems
• Coordinate with foremen, other trades, and field personnel to ensure project schedule adherence
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training
