Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our Fire Protection Services team. This role involves inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA codes and industry standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in system diagnostics and committed to ensuring life safety and property protection for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, service, and repair fire sprinkler systems including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure system functionality and code compliance.
  • Install piping, sprinkler heads, valves, and other components for system upgrades or new installations.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical documents, and system specifications accurately.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other technicians for efficient job completion.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, repairs, and system status.
  • Document work, materials used, and system conditions using digital or manual tools.
  • Follow all safety protocols during field work.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience servicing and/or installing fire sprinkler systems.
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and manuals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Certification in Water-Based Systems (Level I or higher).
  • Experience with various system types (wet, dry, pre-action, foam).
  • OSHA safety training or similar certifications.
