Job summary

Johnson Controls in Shelton, CT is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician Apprentice to learn installation and safety practices under supervision.

Starting at $20 per hour, you will assist the foreman with wet/dry/pre-action/deluge systems, maintain documentation, and perform tasks weighing up to 70 lbs while pursuing Grinnell-approved Apprenticeship Standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Be enrolled in Grinnell's approved Apprenticeship Program, maintaining all requirements of the Apprenticeship Standards.

Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements.
