Hiller Companies, a leading fire protection provider, seeks a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to inspect, test, repair, and maintain sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure safety.

The role offers pay $33–$45 per hour, a sign-on bonus of $5,000 paid in installments, and a comprehensive benefits package. Virginia DPOR certification required; NICET II preferred; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fire sprinkler systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 25.
• Prepare inspection reports and service records.
• Test system components: heads, valves, pumps, and controls.
• Check piping for corrosion, leaks, and wear; suggest repairs.
• Perform maintenance, replace parts, and adjust settings.
• Respond to service calls; diagnose and fix issues.
• Coordinate with clients and authorities to ensure compliance.
