Job summary

Leesburg, VA-based fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial sprinkler systems for existing customers. You will respond to service calls, diagnose issues, and document work performed.

Candidates should have hands-on sprinkler experience, strong troubleshooting and independent working ability, plus excellent customer service.

Qualifications

2+ years of fire sprinkler service, repair, installation, or related field experience.
Strong knowledge of commercial fire sprinkler systems.
Experience servicing wet and dry sprinkler systems.
Pre-action system experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to service calls for commercial fire sprinkler systems.
Troubleshoot system issues and identify deficiencies or needed repairs.
Service and repair sprinkler heads, valves, piping, switches, gauges, and related components.
Perform repairs and maintenance on wet and dry sprinkler systems.
Work with pre-action systems when applicable.
Perform fire pump testing and service when required.
Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
Communicate system conditions, repair needs, and completed work clearly with customers.
Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and company vehicle.
Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
