Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to independently service, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems. You will work in commercial, industrial, and construction environments, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes while documenting all service reports.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the fire and life safety industry, a High school diploma, NICET Level I or above preferred, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).
• Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Support and assist entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.

This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
