Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Tech near Hudson, NH to provide installation services of all forms of fire sprinkler systems and components. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in NFPA-based fire sprinkler systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Five years of obstruction assessments.
• Five years of FDC hydrostatic test experience.
• Enrolled in Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• Working knowledge of NFPA-based fire sprinkler systems.
• Ability to read and install from fire system design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to install prefabricated sprinkler piping.
• Install new, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects.
• Cut, thread, and groove pipe to specs using tools.
• Coordinate with onsite contractors to resolve field conflicts.
• Assist with job scheduling and progress with focus on quality.
• Ensure designs comply with code requirements and safety programs.
