Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Inspection and Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections on fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems in commercial buildings according to NFPA standards and local codes.
• Perform testing, maintenance, and service tasks to ensure systems are operational and compliant with NFPA standards and local building codes.
• Perform Troubleshooting and service on fire sprinkler systems, including valves system components, pumps, and related fire alarm equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components and equipment to restore system functionality.
• Document all inspections, tests, and repairs accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain findings, recommendations, and service options.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to fire sprinkler systems.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Kentucky Fire Sprinkler Inspector License (required) or equivalent NICET Level 2
• Kentucky Fire Alarm Inspector License (preferred) or equivalent NICET Level 2
• Backflow license preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler and fire alarm system inspection and service.
• Proficient understanding of NFPA codes and standards, as well as local fire safety regulations.
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair fire alarm and sprinkler system components.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
