Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems and related components.
- Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler and water-based equipment.
- Document deficiencies and follow on-site reporting procedures.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures at local, corporate, and OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and vehicle stock/tools.

perform service, repairs, and installation associated with fire sprinkler systems and other water-based equipment in accordance with all national and local standards. Our Fire SprinklerRepair Technicians specialized skills, knowledge surround state/federal regulations, and commitment to proper system functioning play a critical role in safeguarding lives, property, and businesses from the devastating effects of fires.
- Install, repair, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumps
- Perform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water-based equipment inspections and testing
- Properly document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on-site
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed
- Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment. Follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care
- High school diploma, state-recognized GED , a ssociate , or bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience with repair of water-based equipment
- Ability and willingness to w ork in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations ; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- 5+ years of ex perience with repair of water-based equipment
- NICET I inspection and testing of water-based systems or water-based layout
The pay range for this position is $70,453- $120,777 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
