Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking skilled pipe fitters to layout, fabricate, assemble and install piping and sprinkler systems for commercial projects. Applicants should be able to follow design plans and codes to protect buildings and coordinate with designers on changes and material shortages.

Responsibilities include producing red-line drawings, maintaining daily progress reports, and training Fitters and Helpers in proper installation techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
• Pre-employment drug screen required; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems, fixtures, sprinklers, and industrial processing systems.
• Installation of pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plans and codes.
• Produce red-line drawings for designer review.
• Submit daily progress reports to Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
