Sciens Building Solutions in Katy, TX is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to install all forms of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and tenant improvement projects. You will read blueprints, cut and fit pipe, and coordinate with designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure compliant installations.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, at least two years in fire life safety, and hands-on experience with NFPA 13.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Enrolled in and actively going through Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• Active pursuit of state required certifications (OSHA 10 preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints to install piping.
• Install new, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects.
• Cut, thread, and groove pipe using appropriate tools.
• Coordinate with onsite contractors to resolve field coordination conflicts.
• Assist with job scheduling and progress in a cost-efficient manner.
• Modify designs to comply with NFPA codes.
• Provide guidance to other field installers.
• Follow Sciens safety programs and procedures.
• Train others to use tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow NFPA-based code requirements and safety policies.
