Overview

Division 4, Knoxville, TN (Job will start in Johnson City, TN for the first couple of weeks that transition to Knoxville, TN).

Summary: Assist in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial, residential buildings, and industrial applications in compliance with current codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Education And/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.

Additional Requirements: Pre-employment drug screens; overtime may be required.
