Century Fire Protection Llc in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Inspector Trainee. You will learn inspection procedures, testing and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, and NFPA documentation while supporting inspectors in daily field tasks.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on training, and progression toward NICET certifications. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic Word/Excel skills, and willingness to learn; construction or fire protection exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections, testing and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
• Learn to test valves, alarms, gauges, water flow devices and components.
• Learn NFPA inspection procedures and documentation requirements.
• Document inspection results, deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection tools, equipment and service vehicles.
• Assist with customer communication and scheduling needs.
• Follow company and OSHA safety requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
