Job summary

Associated Fire Protection, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician at our Utah location to inspect, test, repair, and install sprinkler systems and related fire protection equipment.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, manage parts for jobs, communicate with customers, and participate in on-call rotations. 1–2 years of relevant experience and Utah Level II Technician certification are preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience working on fire sprinkler systems or related systems.
• Level II Technician or High certification per Utah Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Inspecting and Testing Program.
• Must be able to obtain licenses or certifications as required in the working area.
• Experience with fire protection and suppression systems is required.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, repair, installations and maintenance on sprinkler systems and other fire protection equipment.
• Troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems.
• Complete inspection reports and repair work orders via mobile device in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Pull materials for jobs as required and communicate with customers about work performed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
