Job summary

Performance Fire Protection in North Carolina is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. You will inspect and test fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 25 and company standards, prepare accurate reports, and ensure customer satisfaction.

The role may include minor service work and requires attention to safety and detail. Candidates should have at least 1 year of inspection experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum 1 year of fire protection system inspection experience.
• NICET Level II in Inspection & Testing (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Working knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 25 and company procedures.
• Complete inspection reports accurately and submit in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and fire officials.
• Identify and support new opportunities for inspection services.
• Obtain and maintain NICET and Backflow Testing Certifications (NICET within 18 months of hire).
• Collaborate with field superintendents, project managers, and designers.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures; ensure proper PPE use.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and professional representation of PFP.
• Other duties as assigned.
