Job summary

Western States Fire Protection Company is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector (Non-Union) to join our life-safety team. This role focuses on testing and inspecting fire sprinkler systems and documenting conditions accurately.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of NFPA codes, NICET II/III (preferred), and are capable of clear communication with managers and clients. A valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes is preferred.
• NICET II or III certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices and critical components.
• Willing to perform testing and maintenance.
• Able to complete documentation and communicate with managers, customers, AHJs and the public.
• Possess a valid driver’s license; pass post-offer drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections with minimal supervision of fire protection systems.
• Test and service life safety product lines.
• Communicate status with Project Manager/Schedule Coordinator about delays and requirements.
• Fill out inspection reports and submit for billing.
• Coordinate closeout and turnover of jobs to the client once work is completed.
