Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Somerset, KY is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to perform building sprinkler inspections, test devices, record results, and generate reports. You will support the Lead Inspector and Inspection Manager, with duties including data collection, preparing Sprinkler Inspection Reports and Certificates, and participating in monthly team meetings.

Qualifications include a KY fire sprinkler inspector license, high school diploma, and the ability to pass a MVR check;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is acceptable with acceptable experience.
• At least years' experience as a commercial fire sprinkler inspector.
• Must have a KY fire sprinkler inspector license.
• Study NFPA standards for the inspection and testing of fire protection systems.
• Stay current with code requirements, and obtain NICET certifications.
• Must be able to clear MVR check to drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all inspections are completed on a timely basis and that inspections are done accurately and thoroughly.
• Testing of all building sprinkler control panels, devices, and functions of the sprinkler system and entering the test results into the Palm handheld device.
• Upon completion of an inspection download the information and generate a completed Sprinkler Inspection Report.
• Participate in monthly team meetings.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
