Job description

A Fire Sprinkler Inspector will be responsible for the inspection and testing of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and associated equipment. You will perform routine testing and inspections of fire sprinkler systems, troubleshooting, repairs, minor modifications, backflow testing, and fire pump testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual, quarterly, 3-year, and 5-year fire sprinkler inspections
• Inspect fire pumps, standpipes, and all associated fire sprinkler system equipment
• Perform regular maintenance on existing systems
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with sprinkler systems
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and within-budget project completion
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and fire codes

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspections
• Licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector in Florida
• NICET Level II Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems certification
• Backflow Testing certification
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment
• Experience with wet and dry sprinkler systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work with computer and cloud-based service management systems, including reporting

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sprinkler Technician
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment
• Experience with wet and dry sprinkler systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

FASA/BASA certification is a plus but not required.
