Job summary

Central Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Helper in Birmingham, AL to assist seasoned technicians in installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire protection systems in commercial and residential buildings.

You will work closely with the foreman and team, follow safety protocols, and handle tools and equipment. Candidates should be motivated, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Work Authorization required.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• Background check required.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lift at least 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders and perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching above and below shoulders, and walking for extended periods.
• Possibly drive to job sites and work at various locations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Properly maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings.
• Learn, and assist with installs.
