Job summary

Central Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector/Foreman to lead field inspections and testing of sprinkler systems in Birmingham, AL. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 25 and codes, document findings, and coordinate repairs with service teams.

You must have 2+ years of sprinkler inspection experience, NFPA knowledge, and a valid license. Strong communication and tech skills, plus a team-first mindset, are essential for success in this on-site role with travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience inspecting fire sprinkler systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 25 and related fire protection codes and standards.
• State certification or NICET Level II (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using inspection software and mobile devices.
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Integrity, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test sprinkler systems per NFPA 25 and codes.
• Document inspection findings and generate reports.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend repairs or upgrades.
• Explain system conditions to customers.
• Coordinate follow-up work with service teams.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and company vehicle.
