Eagle Fire Inc. in Salem, VA is seeking a Sprinkler Foreman to lead installation crews on commercial projects. You will own on-site safety, quality, and schedule, reading blueprints and coordinating resources.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in fire protection, strong leadership, NICET preferred, and a valid driver's license. Travel and overtime may be required; uniforms provided and competitive hourly pay.

Formación

• 10+ years in fire protection trade with hands-on experience in wet, dry, pre-action and deluge systems.
• Experience leading sprinkler installation/service crews (2–5 technicians).
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills; able to work independently.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings; travel may be required.
• NICET certification or manufacturer certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead field crews in layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge).
• Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and manage manpower and materials.
• Make on-the-spot decisions to keep projects moving safely and on schedule.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications for accurate installation.
• Coordinate material needs, deliveries, and sequencing to minimize disruption.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites reflecting Eagle Fire's reputation.
• Communicate with supervisors, customers, and team members to resolve issues.

As a Sprinkler Foreman, you'll oversee installation crews of 2-5 technicians on a variety of commercial projects. You'll take ownership of the job site - ensuring work meets Eagle Fire's high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on independence, problem-solving, and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in the layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge).
• Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and ensure efficient use of manpower and materials.
• Make on-the-spot decisions to keep projects moving safely and on schedule.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications for accurate installation.
• Coordinate material needs, deliveries, and job sequencing to minimize disruption to customer operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites that reflect Eagle Fire's reputation.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and team members to resolve issues quickly.

What You Bring

• Proven experience running sprinkler installation or service crews (typically 2-5 people).
• 10+ years in the fire protection trade, with hands-on experience in wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills - confident working independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with trade tools and equipment (threaders, groovers, etc.).
• Knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.
• NICET certification and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to perform all job site tasks safely.

The pay range for this position is $22 to $34 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data for comparable roles. The published range represents our expected hiring range for candidates who meet the requirements of the role. While most offers will fall within this range, we may consider compensation outside the published range in exceptional circumstances where a candidate's experience and expertise would bring significant additional value to the organization.
